About the NSC Sewing Marathon

As part of its CSR initiative, the Nedoux Sewing Club holds an annual “Sewing Marathon for Charity” event, where we get sewing craft enthusiasts in a room to sew collectively and then donate the garments to less-privileged children. We believe that everyone deserves brand new clothes, not just hand-me-downs.

Last year, we collaborated with an impactful not-for-profit organisation -The Bloom Tribe.  The “Sew Seeds of Love” event was held on the 4th of February 2017, and had 18 participants.  Between ourselves we sewed nearly 100 garments for children, which were subsequently donated to an orphanage and less privileged community in Lagos.
This year we have partnered with another very reputable not-for-profit organization – Socially Africa.  The goal is to convene even more volunteers to sew 200 garments for kids in need.
Date: Saturday the 20th of October 2018.
Venue: Lekki Lagos.
